From the very start, the people behind the scenes of 'GastroGnome' were looking to provide gas users with products and services second to none. To do this they embarked on a journey of discovery to secure the agencies of quality gas products commercially available today.
Along the way, they met others who had a similar belief in their product range and through strategic alliances the team at 'GastroGnome' brought together other products that our customers should have access to and hence the provision of non gas products through 'GastroGnome'.
Our initial interest in the supply of industrial gas stemmed from the fact that one kilowatt of energy generated through electricity from diesel fuel generators created one kilogram of carbon dioxide and yet the same amount of energy generated from liquid petroleum gas (LPG) generated 240 grams. With global warming threatening many low lying special places around the globe, including the Cocos (Keeling) Islands, we wanted to make a positive step on this front by further encouraging the use of LPG.
